Algebra I is a foundational level course that is necessary to build toward higher-level mathematics. Topics include linear equations, graphing, factorization, quadratic equations, inequalities, and more!
Students learn the underlying concepts of the subject, actively participate in classwork, and receive regular homework that ranges from easy practice problems to competition level math. We supplement proof-based teaching with traditional teaching methods so that students can build up their skills.
All classes are virtual with small class sizes. Students are encouraged to participate actively during class hour, so having a stylus pen is highly recommended.
Prerequisite: Pre-Algebra.
An assessment is required to measure understanding of Pre-Algebra principles.
